Pet Gundog Training at Bath Country Pets

I am delighted to have teamed up with Emma at Bath Country Pets in order to offer some of our fantastic Pet Gundog Training at their grounds in South Wraxall, just to the North-East of Bath.

A marvellous setting awaits from the training field which sits high above Bath. we have scheduled a couple of taster Dog Training Classes for September / October 2019.

Even if you live in a city like Bath and own a Pet Gundog it does not stop you to train your dog along the lines he has been bred for. Spaniels, Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Vizlas or German Shorthaired Pointers are all natural retrievers and more so highly intelligent dogs. Just walking around the park twice a day won’t give them sufficient stimulation and brain exercise, they need a little more to use up this endless energy.

Pet Gundog Training includes a large amount of general obedience which we will teach you and your dog before embarking on the more exciting mechanics of the basic retrieve, perfect delivery and the introduction of whistle work.

Even if you will never take your dog on a shoot or enter any competition you will still end up with a truly well behaved dog and you will both have learned skills to spend quality time together.

You can find more details about the courses we offer at Bath Country Pets following this link https://bathcountrypets.co.uk/does-your-dog-like-to-retrieve

Don’t be put off if you share your home with a Labradoodle or Cockerpoo, these dog breeds also take well to retrieving and are equally skilled than their pure bred ancestors.

Places are limited so if you are interested in signing up to our dog training at Bath Country Pets get in touch soon.
